EssentiallyAli (“I,” “me,” or “my”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit essentiallyali.com (the “Site”), how it’s used, and the choices you have. The Site is operated by EssentiallyAli, LLC, based in Kentucky, United States.

Information I collect
Information collected automatically (analytics). When you visit the Site, Google Analytics collects standard usage data through cookies and similar technologies. This can include your IP address (often shortened or anonymized), browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view, how long you spend on them, and the site or search that referred you. This information is aggregated and is not used to personally identify you.
Information you provide (contact form). If you fill out my contact form, I collect the information you choose to share — usually your name, email address, and the contents of your message. I collect this only so I can read your message and respond to it. The form is powered by Web3Forms, which means your submission passes through their service on its way to my inbox (see “Third-party services” below).
How I use your information
- Analytics data: to understand how people find and use the Site so I can make it better.
- Contact form data: only to respond to the message you sent me.
I do not use your contact information to build a mailing list, I do not sell or rent it to anyone, and I do not use it for marketing. If you reach out with a question, you’ll only hear back from me about that question.
Cookies
The Site uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — primarily to run Google Analytics.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. You can also opt out of Google Analytics specifically by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Turning off cookies won’t break the Site, though some things may behave a little differently.
Third-party services
Google Analytics. Analytics data is processed by Google. You can review how Google handles this information in the Google Privacy Policy.
Web3Forms (contact form). My contact form is powered by Web3Forms, which receives your submission and forwards it to my email. Your message passes through and is briefly stored on their servers (located in the United States) before being automatically deleted. To help guard against spam, your IP address and email address may also be shared with spam-prevention services. You can read more in the Web3Forms Privacy Policy.
I’m not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party websites I link to. When you click a link that takes you off my Site, I’d encourage you to read the privacy policy of wherever you land.
How your information is shared
I don’t sell, rent, or trade your personal information. The only routine sharing is with the service providers listed above (such as Google Analytics) that help operate the Site. I may also disclose information if I’m required to by law, or to protect my legal rights.
Data retention
- Analytics data is retained by Google for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted or aggregated.
- Contact form messages are forwarded to my email and stored temporarily by Web3Forms (around 30 days), after which they’re automatically deleted from their system. The copies that reach my own inbox are kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry, and deleted periodically afterward.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or opt out of certain data collection. This includes residents of California (under the CCPA/CPRA) and the EU and UK (under the GDPR/UK GDPR). To make a request, email me at [email protected] and I’ll respond as required by applicable law.
Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided me with information, please contact me and I’ll delete it.
Data security
I take reasonable steps to protect the information collected through the Site. That said, no method of transmitting or storing information online is completely secure, so I can’t guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and I’ll note any significant changes here.
